The web on the big screen. Send web pages and images to your ChromeCast!Simply type in a URL, give it a name and then tap to display it on your ChromeCast.Great for digital signage, menus, presentations and dashboards.PLEASE READ THE FAQ BELOW TO SEE IF THIS APP WILL WORK FOR YOU!FAQ1. What can be displayed?Generally anything you can display in a browser including HTML files and images such as .gif, .jpg and .png. NOTE: Some web pages are too complex for the built in ChromeCast web browser to handle.2. Does it support HTTP and HTTPS ?Yes it does.3. Can it display items from a local, non-Internet server?Yes it can. As long as the ChromeCast is on the same network as the server.4. How can I display a file if I dont have a web server? You can use Dropbox or Google Drive to host your files and add your share links to Web2Cast5. Doesnt casting a tab in Chrome do the same thing as this app?Sort of. However the Web2Cast display will be much crisper as it is not "streaming" a tab but actually displaying the web page in the ChromeCast browser. Additionally you can leave the display running without having to have Chrome running and casting.6. Can I navigate a web page that is displayed by Web2Cast?The app provides the ability to scroll the page up and down. Unfortunately the ChromeCast browser has its input disabled so links cannot be clicked on, there is no cursor and text cannot be entered.7. Only my page background is displayed. Whats wrong? Some pages automatically center their content vertically, if this is the case your pages content may not be immediately visible on screen. Try press the "Center" button on the Remote screen to display your content.Fixed for crash

If you are displaying on one screen it is useful. However I have 5 screens with different URLs, and I cannot open 5 instances of this app, so it is not very useful. Back to tab casting.

Works great. Bad reviews are from folks who either do not understand what this product does, or did not read the FAQ.

Simple app that does one thing well. Works great and is easy to use. One feature request: it would be nice if it had built in support for casting different things to multiple displays simultaneously. I was able to get a similar effect by quitting the app, and opening it again and casting to the second device.

Not working with s8+ (if that makes any difference.) The test stuff casts but everything else just shows a black box. Will try with other phones and websites.

Bug with present version: Detect Chromecast and display its name, but then display error "Not connected to a chromecast. Cannot display page" when using App to display anything, even the Orange Cat.

Samuel Barbaud

Crap! Uninstalled and got a refund. Even other free apps do better than this.

Jack Bourne

Great little app. Like the option to continue display of page after disconnect. Nice job.

If you are looking for a easy cheap digital signage solution and have a hosted web site to publish html too then this is it.

Really useful, used twice at work for displaying web based dashboard on big screen. Little problem, on all our displays, we can see a gray border (chrome ?) on left & top border preventing us to perform nice full screen experience.

Please ignore the bad reviews for this app, they are just because the users have not understood the purpose of the app. I am using it to display a Navision Dashboard, perfectly!
